Some days come and go like any other,
With li’l to none to remember.
Some come laden with emotions,
With a flickering heart's glowing ember;
Some come with hate, some with sorrow,
In anticipation of a dull tomorrow.
Some days are the best, with no worries,
But endowed with dreams and memories;
Colourful dreams that never fade,
And happy memories, hard to evade.
Some days come with wonder,
In anticipation of that thunder;
That which makes the heart throb,
With love's might none can rob.
If that day ever comes in the thick of time,
And you have to declare a thing or two;
I will whisper to your eyes and ears,
How much I love you too.
